We have so loved your charming inn and the warm, friendly and outstanding service we received. It was a beautiful place to have our wedding, even in what should have been called a tropical storm. We can't wait to come back when it is sunny and will of course accept no other lodging than the Addison.

My husband and I just returned from a 3 night stay at The Addison and I had to sit right down at my computer to write this review while everything is still fresh in my mind. THE ADDISON IS WONDERFUL!!!!
Bob, Shannon, Lee, and Molly made us feel so welcome, as if we were family coming to stay a few days.

The breakfasts were amazing, with a fresh-baked muffin to start every day, followed by stuffed french toast and smoothie the first morning, breakfast quesadillas the second, and orange pancakes with fruit parfait on our last morning there. Thank goodness Fernandina Beach is such a nice town to walk around, because you WILL need to walk! Happy Hour was something we made sure we were back for everyday - such a nice way to wind down (if you need to wind down on a beach vacation) and a nice segue into evening. Shannon had a different snack every day and they were all yummy!! That lady can cook.

Our room (15) was beautifully decorated and the bathroom had a dual shower with terrific water pressure (not always a given in Florida).
I'm not a bath person, but if you are, I'd encourage you to try a room with one of the soaker tubs.

Bob and Shannon have been running this wonderful place one year tomorrow and it's hard to believe what they've accomplished in that time. This is a couple who have truely found their calling - running what is far and away the best B&B I've ever stayed in. If you're going to Amelia, this is THE PLACE.
